Enter Programming Mode

Programming mode is a mode of open suggestion. When in programming mode, the mentat is fully open to input and information. In this mode, the barrier between the external world and the internal neural world is lowered.

Programming mode is entered through the use of hypnotic suggestion. To enter programming mode, repeat:

Once you train yourself to do this, you can reduce the hypnotic suggestion to:

All instructions must be accompanied with gesture and must be performed to some rhythmic pattern or pulse—be it the chirping of birds, the beat of music, the tap of a finger, or the blink of an eye.

Instructions without gesture and sound cannot function.
