The Way of the Mentat is not a religion. Because the mentat knows that people who are religious kill one another. It is an unfortunate historical truth.

But the way of the mentat is a spiritual way because to live one's life in a spiritual manner with good (ideas / myths / stories) for guidance and comfort is, simply put, a good way to live.

Please never forget that ( ideas \ . \ stories ) shape our lives. If there comes a time when these ( . / myths / . ) ever die—and, one day, that day will come—create new ones. For creation is the gesture of life.
